1. Privacy-First & Telemetry Stance

We maintain a strict zero-telemetry policy within our application software:

• The Software does not collect, track, or transmit usage analytics, behavioral data, telemetry, or diagnostic metrics from your device.
• All data created, processed, or saved within the Software remains stored 100% locally on your disk. We have no access to your local files or application data.

2. Third-Party Data Processing & Architecture

We operate on a minimal-data architecture and do not maintain a central database of personal user profiles on our own servers. Instead, customer identification and license records are handled seamlessly through our trusted third-party service providers (Legal Basis: Contract Performance under GDPR):

• Payment Processing (Stripe): Payments and subscription billing are processed directly by Stripe. We never store, collect, or transmit your credit card or financial details on our servers. Stripe retains transaction records, billing details, and customer email addresses required for billing and tax compliance. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• License Management & Activations (Keylight): We use Keylight (apps.keylight.dev) as our licensing infrastructure. When you purchase or activate a license key, Keylight stores your email address, assigned license keys, activation timestamps, and hardware device identifiers necessary to verify license validity and enforce device limits.

Your records across Stripe and Keylight are linked exclusively by your purchase email address to fulfill your order and provide support.

3. How Your Data Is Used

Your email address and licensing metadata are used strictly to:

1. Issue software license keys and enable device activations.
2. Verify customer ownership when handling technical support requests, manual device transfers, or refunds.
3. Send critical transactional notices regarding your order, receipt, or license renewal.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your email address with advertising networks or marketing third parties.

4. Your Rights (GDPR & Data Protection)

Depending on your location, you hold full rights regarding your personal information:

• Access & Rectification: You may request details on the payment records or license activations linked to your email address.
• Deletion: You may request the deletion of your licensing data from Keylight or customer record from Stripe, subject to legal tax and statutory record-keeping obligations.
