Terms of Service

1. Payment & Billing Process

All payment processing, billing management, and transaction security are powered by Stripe. By purchasing a license or subscription, you agree to provide valid billing information and authorize Stripe to process charges on our behalf.

2. Software Licensing & Activations

Software licensing, key validation, and device activations are verified and enforced via Keylight (apps.keylight.dev).

• Single Device License: Each license key grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to activate and run the Software on one (1) device at a time, unless explicitly specified otherwise in your plan details.
• Activation Verification: During license activation or periodic validation checks, the Software connects to Keylight to verify license status and enforce hardware activation limits.
• Personal Use Only: The Software is licensed strictly for personal, non-commercial use unless explicit commercial licensing is provided in writing.
• Device Migration: If you switch to a new Mac or need to reset an activation limit, you may manage your activations where available or contact customer support for assistance.

3. Updates & One-Year Maintenance Period

• 1-Year Update Access: Your license purchase includes access to software updates, bug fixes, and feature improvements released within 365 days from the purchase date.
• Perpetual License for Purchased Versions: Following the 1-year maintenance window, you retain perpetual usage rights to the last version of the Software released while your license was active.
• Manual Renewal: Licenses do not auto-renew unless you explicitly subscribe to an ongoing plan. To receive new releases after your maintenance period expires, you may choose to manually purchase a renewal or new license.

4. Refunds & Cancellations

Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If you experience technical difficulties or are dissatisfied with your purchase, please email support@littleworksapps.com within 14 days of purchase. Upon issuing a refund, the associated license key will be deactivated via Keylight.

5. Restrictions & Misuse

All software, branding, and documentation remain the exclusive property of Little Works Apps. You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass, crack, disable, or tamper with Keylight's software license verification checks or activation server endpoints.
• Share, sell, publish, or publicly distribute your personal license key.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or modify the Software.

We reserve the right to immediately revoke license keys that are found to be shared publicly, abused, or associated with fraudulent Stripe payments.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Little Works Apps shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Software.
